Description: Gen321.com is an advertising driven community centric portal with a strong focus on business news and information, music and culture and Jobs listings. This project was originally started by another development company that fell short meeting client expectations. The CNP integrations team rebuilt the architecture and several custom components and integrations leveraging the clients design elements and was able to help the client launch on schedule. In addition CNP provided client training and ongoing support.

This project had been going on for several years with several failed attempts by other development companies. CNP Integrations was brought in to completely redesign and rearchitect the platform in a way that would improve performance and allow the principles of the company to sustain the application after its initial development. This platform was built using the Joomla! CMS and component extensions developed by the Mighty Extensions team.

The Series7news portal was a complex data module with many users and data relationships between those users and other content. CNP successfully configured and customized a data and security model that met and surpassed the client’s expectations. The client currently is successfully managing and evolving the web tool suite with little on-going technical support requirements. Green Collar Media offers one of the largest collections of white papers and company listings for companies that support green technologies. This project was developed in an earlier Joomla! CMS framework (J1.0). Client required several custom modules to be built, a new template and design strategy to be implemented. CNP provided technical and programming support, strategic consulting, training and configuration services to help this client re-design and re-launch the portal.

GiveToED.org is a community portal and web collaboration tool suite for engaging grass roots interaction between educators, parents and civic leaders for debate and discussion on topical issues and political activism related to education. This community toolbox was launched spring of 2010 in a pilot phase to support the community of Freetown and Lakeville in MA to centralize topical information around their efforts to regionalize their school districts. This system features integrations with MindMeister mind mapping, Live UStream TV Channel, video archives, project management system, a bridge with a full feature Moodle Learning Management System and several other productivity and bogging tools.
